It's finally here...the debut of saxophonist Kamasi Washington! You may recognize his sound from Kendrick Lamar's still astounding To Pimp a Butterfly, but now he's arrived with a sprawling triple LP debut. I'll resist the urge to play the three hour album (!!!) in its entirety, but instead spin some of the many highlights. A landmark album! But no worries...the usual vinyl funkiness will ensure (Mouzon, MacDermott, more)!
