The Mt. Airy Groove returns after a week on the left coast (fear not, I'll always prefer Biggie to Tupac). Got a set for the recently departed Cedar Walton, the consummate sideman who left his mark on countless classic albums. Plus, a set of California inspired tunes and lots of Stevie Wonder & Michael Jackson...cuz the Saucegirl just turned 40!

Cold game.
Get ready to put the needle on the record come Wednesday at the Mt. Airy Groove. Got a new one from Myron & E,
a vocal duo that just dropped their first full length on Stonesthrow,
backed by the Soul Investigators! Plus, some nice Brazil to kick off
the show (yes, this means more Lucas Arruda...summer jam 2013!), slickness from Harvey Mason and some nice grooves from Compost (Bob Moses, Jack DeJohnette & Harold Vick...damn!). Stop by, folks.
