Just what is a Valiha anyway?

It's a tube zither made from a species of local bamboo in Madagascar, of course!  Sit in with the Groove Wednesday at noon to check out incredible music from a box set featuring French jazz hero Jef Gilson and musicians hailing from Madagascar, including sounds from the aforementioned valiha!  Jazzman records hits one out of the park again!  Plus, more from all three Placebo LPs, some soaring work from Pharoah Sanders in the '80s and a set inspired by Marvin Gaye.  Dig it!
