The finest purveyors of modern space jazz, The Heliocentrics, are back at it again with a new album, so get ready to dig in Wednesday night. Also got San Diego-area bassman Ben Wanicur on his fine new release featuring Peter Sprague. Plus, more from Lady (album of the year already???), a lost Lucky Thompson live date from the late '70s, and a funky Prestige-inspired recording from a new trio from Austin called Dupree. See you soon.
